Booking Terms & Conditions

These Booking Terms & Conditions apply to all flight reservations, ticketing services and related booking services provided through Flymyanmarairways.com.

Please read these terms carefully before making a reservation or completing payment.

1. About Flymyanmarairways.com

flymyanmarairways.com is operated by an independent online travel agency.

We provide flight search, reservation, ticketing and customer support services for flights operated by airlines serving Thailand and international destinations.

flymyanmarairways.com is not the official website of Myanmar Airways or any other airline, unless expressly stated otherwise.

We are an independent travel agency and are not the airline operator. Airlines remain responsible for operating flights, aircraft, airport services, check-in, boarding, baggage handling and other airline-controlled services.

All airline names, logos, trademarks and service marks remain the property of their respective owners.

By using this website, submitting a booking request or purchasing a ticket through us, you acknowledge and agree to these Booking Terms & Conditions.

2. Our Role as a Travel Agency

flymyanmarairways.com acts as a travel agency and ticketing intermediary.

Our services may include:

  • Flight search and availability information;

  • Fare quotation;

  • Flight reservation;

  • Airline ticket issuance;

  • Booking changes and rebooking assistance;

  • Cancellation and refund assistance;

  • Customer support relating to eligible bookings.

The airline remains responsible for the operation of the flight and for applying its own Conditions of Carriage, fare rules, baggage rules and operational policies.

Where an airline's policy differs from information displayed on our website, the applicable airline policy and the fare rules attached to the passenger's ticket shall prevail.

3. Booking Request and Reservation

Submitting a booking request does not necessarily mean that a ticket has been issued.

A booking may remain subject to:

  • Flight availability;

  • Fare availability;

  • Passenger information verification;

  • Airline approval;

  • Payment confirmation;

  • Ticketing deadlines;

  • Applicable fare conditions.

A reservation is considered confirmed by us only when the applicable booking and payment process has been completed and the passenger has received the relevant confirmation or ticket information.

4. Ticket Issuance

Once payment has been successfully received and the booking conditions have been satisfied, we will process the ticket issuance.

Depending on the airline and itinerary, the passenger may receive:

  • Airline Passenger Name Record (PNR);

  • E-ticket number;

  • Flight itinerary;

  • Fare information;

  • Applicable baggage allowance;

  • Other relevant booking information.

Passengers should carefully review all information immediately after receiving the ticket.

This includes:

  • Passenger name;

  • Date of birth, where applicable;

  • Flight dates;

  • Flight numbers;

  • Departure and arrival airports;

  • Travel dates and times;

  • Baggage allowance;

  • Fare conditions.

Any error should be reported to us immediately.

5. Passenger Name and Personal Information

Passengers are responsible for providing accurate information at the time of booking.

The passenger name must correspond with the passenger's valid travel document.

Depending on the airline and fare type:

  • Name changes to another person may not be permitted;

  • Minor spelling corrections may be permitted;

  • Name corrections may be subject to airline approval and fees;

  • Some promotional or restricted fares may not permit name correction.

A name correction is not the same as transferring a ticket to another passenger.

The applicable airline's name policy and the fare rules attached to the ticket shall determine whether a correction can be processed.

6. Prices, Taxes and Service Fees

The total price displayed before payment may include:

  • Base airfare;

  • Government and airport taxes;

  • Airline-imposed charges;

  • Applicable service or booking fees.

Where applicable, our service fee is separate from the airline's fare and is charged for the services provided by our travel agency.

The final amount payable will be displayed or communicated before payment is completed.

Airline fares are subject to availability and may change before ticket issuance.

A fare shown during a search is not guaranteed until the booking has been confirmed and the ticket has been issued.

7. Payment

Payment must be completed within the applicable ticketing deadline.

If payment is not received within the required time:

  • The reservation may expire;

  • The fare may no longer be available;

  • The booking may need to be recreated;

  • A different fare may apply.

A payment confirmation does not automatically guarantee ticket issuance if the payment has not been successfully verified or if the airline's ticketing conditions have not been satisfied.

8. Fare Rules

Every airline ticket is subject to specific fare conditions.

Fare conditions may determine:

  • Whether changes are permitted;

  • Change fees;

  • Fare differences;

  • Cancellation eligibility;

  • Refund fees;

  • No-show conditions;

  • Name correction rules;

  • Route or flight restrictions;

  • Minimum or maximum stay requirements;

  • Ticket validity.

Our Fare Rules page provides general guidance only.

The specific fare rules associated with the passenger's actual ticket shall always prevail.

Fare Rules:
https://flymyanmarairways.com/fare-rules

9. Flight Changes and Rebooking

A request to change a ticket is subject to the applicable airline and fare conditions.

Where changes are permitted, the total cost may include:

Change Fee + Fare Difference + Tax/Fee Difference + Applicable Service Fee

The passenger may only change the flight if the applicable fare rules permit such change.

A change to a lower-priced fare may not necessarily result in a refund of the fare difference.

Some fares may only permit changes to the same or higher booking class.

All changes are subject to seat and fare availability.

10. Cancellation and Refund

Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the fare conditions of the ticket.

Some fares may be:

  • Fully refundable;

  • Refundable subject to a cancellation fee;

  • Partially refundable;

  • Non-refundable.

Where a refund is permitted, the amount refunded may be reduced by:

  • Airline cancellation/refund fee;

  • No-show fee, where applicable;

  • Non-refundable taxes or charges;

  • Ticketing or service fees;

  • Other applicable deductions under the fare rules.

Ticketing or service fees charged by https://flymyanmarairways.com may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Refunds are processed in accordance with the airline's applicable rules and our refund procedures.

11. Cancellation Shortly After Ticket Issuance

Where permitted by the applicable fare and airline rules, customers may request cancellation shortly after ticket issuance.

For eligible requests, the cancellation request should normally be submitted:

On the ticket issuance date and before 23:00 Vietnam Time (GMT+7).

Cancellation within this period does not automatically guarantee a full refund.

Applicable airline rules, fare conditions, taxes, ticketing fees and service fees will still apply.

The exact refund amount will be advised after the ticket conditions have been reviewed.

12. No-Show

A passenger is considered a no-show when the passenger does not travel and does not complete the required cancellation or change procedure within the applicable airline's permitted time.

No-show may result in:

  • Additional no-show fees;

  • Loss of the ticket value;

  • Loss of onward or return sectors;

  • Restrictions on subsequent changes or refunds.

Some airlines may automatically cancel remaining sectors after a passenger fails to board a flight.

Passengers should therefore contact us or the airline before the scheduled departure time if they are unable to travel.

13. Combination and Mixed Fare Tickets

An itinerary may contain different fare types or booking classes.

Where multiple fare types are combined, the most restrictive applicable fare condition may affect the ticket.

Certain promotional fares may not be combined with other fare types for cancellation or refund purposes.

The applicable conditions will be determined by the airline's fare construction and the rules attached to the ticket.

14. Promotional and Special Fares

Promotional fares may have additional restrictions.

These may include:

  • Non-refundable conditions;

  • Restricted changes;

  • Higher change fees;

  • No-show penalties;

  • Limited baggage allowance;

  • Restricted name correction;

  • Limited seat availability.

Promotional fares should not be assumed to have the same conditions as standard fares.

The conditions displayed or attached to the ticket shall prevail.

15. Baggage

Baggage allowance depends on:

  • Airline;

  • Fare type;

  • Cabin class;

  • Route;

  • Ticket conditions;

  • Operating carrier.

The baggage allowance shown on the passenger's confirmed ticket or booking record shall prevail.

Passengers are responsible for checking the applicable baggage allowance before departure.

Additional, excess, oversized or special baggage may incur additional charges.

For detailed information, please refer to our:

Baggage Information
https://flymyanmarairways.com/baggage-policy

16. Travel Documents and Entry Requirements

Passengers are solely responsible for ensuring that they hold all documents required for their journey.

Depending on the destination, these may include:

  • Passport;

  • Visa;

  • Transit visa;

  • Entry permit;

  • Health documentation;

  • Vaccination or other required certificates;

  • Immigration or customs documentation.

Airline ticket issuance does not guarantee entry into a country.

Passengers should verify the latest entry and transit requirements with the relevant government authorities and airline before travel.

flymyanmarairways.com is not responsible for denied boarding or denied entry resulting from inadequate or invalid travel documents.

17. Check-in and Boarding

Passengers are responsible for completing check-in within the airline's required timeframe.

Passengers should arrive at the airport sufficiently early to complete:

  • Check-in;

  • Baggage drop-off;

  • Immigration;

  • Security screening;

  • Boarding procedures.

Failure to check in or arrive before the airline's required deadline may result in the passenger being treated as a no-show.

Airlines may refuse boarding where passengers do not comply with applicable check-in, security, travel-document or boarding requirements.

18. Airline Schedule Changes

Airlines may change:

  • Flight schedules;

  • Departure or arrival times;

  • Flight numbers;

  • Aircraft;

  • Routes;

  • Operating carriers.

Schedule changes may occur for operational, safety, weather, regulatory or other reasons.

When we receive information regarding an airline schedule change affecting a customer's booking, we will provide assistance in accordance with the airline's applicable procedures.

Any rebooking, refund or alternative arrangement will be subject to the airline's policy applicable to the specific disruption.

19. Flight Cancellation or Disruption

In the event of flight cancellation, significant schedule change, delay or other operational disruption caused by the airline, the applicable airline policy shall determine the available options.

Depending on the circumstances, these may include:

  • Rebooking;

  • Rerouting;

  • Credit or voucher;

  • Refund;

  • Other remedies offered by the airline.

flymyanmarairways.com acts as an intermediary and does not control airline operational decisions.

20. Force Majeure and Extraordinary Circumstances

In circumstances such as:

  • Natural disasters;

  • Severe weather;

  • Epidemics or pandemics;

  • Government restrictions;

  • Airspace closures;

  • Political or security events;

  • Airport closures;

  • Air traffic restrictions;

  • Other extraordinary circumstances,

normal fare rules may be temporarily replaced or supplemented by special airline policies.

Where an airline issues a special waiver or temporary policy, the applicable waiver will prevail for eligible bookings.

21. Special Assistance

Passengers requiring special assistance should inform us at the time of booking whenever possible.

Special assistance may include:

  • Wheelchair assistance;

  • Reduced mobility assistance;

  • Special medical requirements;

  • Unaccompanied minor services;

  • Special seating requirements;

  • Assistance for passengers with disabilities.

Some services require advance airline approval and may be subject to additional conditions or charges.

Availability cannot be guaranteed unless the airline has confirmed the requested service.

22. Sports Equipment and Special Baggage

Sports equipment and oversized baggage may be subject to separate airline rules and fees.

Examples include:

  • Golf equipment;

  • Bicycles;

  • Surfboards;

  • Diving equipment;

  • Musical instruments;

  • Other oversized items.

Passengers should notify us before ticket issuance whenever possible so that applicable airline requirements can be checked.

23. Delayed, Damaged or Lost Baggage

**Flymyanmarairways.com **does not operate airline baggage handling services.

Any delayed, damaged or lost baggage should be reported to the airline's baggage service office at the airport as soon as possible.

Passengers should retain:

  • Baggage tags;

  • Boarding passes;

  • E-ticket;

  • Baggage claim documentation;

  • Receipts for relevant expenses.

Baggage claims are handled in accordance with the airline's procedures and applicable laws and international conventions.

24. Airline Conditions of Carriage

In addition to these Booking Terms & Conditions, passengers are subject to the airline's:

  • Conditions of Carriage;

  • Fare rules;

  • Baggage regulations;

  • Check-in requirements;

  • Safety regulations;

  • Passenger handling procedures.

Where there is a conflict between these general Booking Terms and the airline's mandatory conditions applicable to the ticket, the applicable airline rules shall prevail.

25. Customer Requests and Processing Time

Requests for:

  • Booking changes;

  • Cancellation;

  • Refund;

  • Name correction;

  • Baggage services;

  • Other booking-related assistance

should be submitted as early as possible.

Processing time may depend on:

  • Airline response;

  • Ticketing system availability;

  • Fare conditions;

  • Payment method;

  • Banking procedures;

  • Weekends and public holidays.

Submitting a request does not automatically mean that the requested change or refund has been approved.

The booking remains subject to the original ticket conditions until the requested transaction has been confirmed.

26. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, the refund amount will be calculated according to the applicable airline fare rules.

Refund processing may take time because the airline may need to authorize or process the refund before we can complete the transaction.

The actual time required may vary depending on:

  • Airline processing;

  • Payment method;

  • Bank processing;

  • Currency conversion;

  • Ticket type;

  • Refund complexity.

A refund request is not considered completed until the applicable refund has been processed.
